Start the year right by picking up one of our cool new reads. Check out our display table for January’s days of significance including Dr. Martin Luther King day, January 15th. Learn more about King from Biography in Context (see UN/PW in Agenda).
This week, the library is busy working with ESLA, ESLB, and ESLC classes, Gr. 11 English classes on Academic Honesty and Reaganism in media, and Grade 10 Science. It’s a packed week for lunch periods, so …
► Plan ahead knowing there will be limited access (e.g., fewer computers to use). Please respect the classes that are in session and remain quiet. The Library may be closed during the following periods (this is subject to change: always check the whiteboard near the entrance):
Monday: Period 2 and Period 3
Tuesday: Period 2 and Period 3
Wednesday: Period 2 and Period 3 (Lab only)
Thursday: Library open Period 3 ONLY (closed 1, 2, 4, 5 for PD session)
Friday: Period 2
*lab/winlab: study spaces/computers are occupied by a class. Please remember to sign out your computers with photo ID during lunch.
The library is reserved for quiet work when a lesson is being taught. Do your part to keep the Library fully accessible during lunch periods and work quietly.
